Candle Care

Our Retreat Candles bring Relaxation & Ambience to your space. So we want to make sure that your candles burn safely and properly. Please read the guidelines we've outlined for you to get the most out of your Retreat Candle: 

• The first burn should be the longest burn. Let the candle burn until the wax melts to the edges of the vessel. This is called a memory burn. Doing this will help ensure that you will get long and clean burns from your candle. 

• Trim / gently break away any burnt wick before you relight your candle to keep the wax clean and burning nicely.

While Burning: 

• Lit candles are hot! 
• Never touch or try moving a burning candle.
• Never move the candle vessel when the wax is liquified.
• Allow sufficient time for a candle to cool before handling.
• Always place a heat proof coaster underneath a burning candle to avoid damage to your benchtop.
• The metal lids can be used as a candle coaster while burning.
• Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
